Reuben’s Train is now available.
Our latest CD, produced by Jim Sharpley, consists entirely of the trio members with no added musicians sitting in. Bob Coxx on rhythm guitar, Myrna Riquier on bass and Jim playing all of the lead instruments that were used. It is truly representative of a basic Still Pickin’ Trio concert. The tracks were recorded and mixed by John Schwenk of Willimantic, CT.
The 15 traditional songs you’ll find on this recording are:
Little Old Log Cabin in the Lane
Beautiful Brown Eyes
Roll in My Sweet Baby’s Arms
I Wonder How the Old Folks Are at Home
Little Darlin’ Pal of Mine
Jimmy Brown the Newsboy
Get Along Home Cindy
Also included are some originals written by Myrna Riquier;
Shadow of the Son
Anatone (Richard Maine co-writer)
The Hangin’ Judge (Pat Hill co-writer)
I’m Still Pickin’ (Pat Hill and Jim Sharpley, co-writers)
The price is $15 and includes postage and handling. You can also get a copy at one of our concerts for just $12.
